Students may experience
- Anxiety about school, exams, or social situations
- Low confidence or self-esteem
- Bullying, friendship issues, or feeling left out
- Anger, frustration, or emotional outbursts
- Trouble focusing, overthinking, or “shutting down”
- Screen addiction or gaming/social media dependence
- Sleep problems and constant tiredness
- Feeling sad, flat, or “not themselves”
Parents often notice
- Change in behaviour or mood
- Avoiding school or activities they once enjoyed
- Spending a lot of time alone or on screens
- Drop in grades or motivation
- More arguments at home
- Saying “I can’t do it” or “No one understands me”
- Staying alone at room for long period and avoid social contact
- Loss of interest in hobbies or activities that used to bring joy.
