★★★★★

My daughter Rahel enjoyed her 11+ tuition classes with Eleven Ace especially for English! She got really good score for all her tests. The mock tests she did also helped her to improve her confidence for her exams. My son is also finding his Coding sessions advantageous. Would recommend Eleven Ace to all!

Great and passionate teaching/teachers

My son was in Eleven Ace preparatory classes for his 11plus exams. The environment was good, great and friendly teachers, willing to support. My son did not encounter any problems. He got into our first choice of grammar school. Our experience was very good and we have recommended them to other friends and colleagues.

Students lose marks in 11 Plus exams due to poor writing structure
What We See Every Day

Most Students We Work With Lose Marks Because They Can't Structure Writing Under Pressure

Creative writing carries significant weight in the 11+ exam, yet it's where most students underperform. In our experience, the issue isn't imagination — it's the absence of a clear framework for organising ideas under timed conditions. Here's what we see again and again:

1

No Story StructureStudents jump straight into writing without planning, leading to disorganised narratives.

2

Weak Openings & EndingsWe see generic beginnings and rushed conclusions that cost marks every time.

3

Limited VocabularyStudents come to us with repetitive word choices and flat descriptions, missing key literary techniques.

4

Time PanicThey freeze or rush because they've never practised under real exam conditions.

Our Promise to You

Why We Built This Programme

Here's what we guarantee when you trust us with your child's preparation.

100% Exam-Focused

We've built every exercise, prompt, and technique around what CSSE and FSCE examiners specifically look for. Your child learns to write what scores marks.

£15 for 4 Hours

Most 11+ sessions cost £40–£80/hr. We deliver 4 hours of expert tuition for £15 total — including assessment, feedback, and take-home materials.

Active Cohort

We cap it at 30 students with 3 dedicated tutors. Every child gets individual feedback, personal guidance, and attention to their specific weaknesses.

A High-Intensity Jumpstart

While mastery is a marathon, these sessions provide a high-intensity jumpstart. We help students identify their own writing habits and provide them with concrete, actionable steps to elevate their prose. It's about giving them the roadmap and the first few tools they need to navigate the 11-plus journey successfully.

The Shift We're Aiming For

From Uncertain Writer to Equipped Storyteller

We equip uncertain writers with the specific techniques and confidence they need to begin their journey toward becoming exam-ready storytellers. Here's what that shift looks like in practice:

Before the Programme

No clear structure or planning habit

Struggles to start stories under timed pressure

Repetitive vocabulary and flat descriptions

Doesn't know what examiners are looking for

Blank page anxiety and low writing confidence

Weak openings and rushed, inconclusive endings

After the Programme

A reliable story framework — beginning, middle, end — every time

Plans a full story structure in under five minutes

Uses show-don't-tell, power verbs, and sensory language

Understands and writes to CSSE & FSCE criteria

A game plan for exam day — calm and prepared

Strong, memorable openings with purposeful endings

Student writing improvement before and after the bootcamp
If your child struggles with writing in the 11+, this is where they lose marks — and this is exactly where we address it. Every technique we teach is built around what examiners reward.

This isn't generic writing tutoring. It's our targeted, exam-specific intervention. Your child leaves with proven techniques they can apply immediately in every practice paper going forward.

Before We Begin

The Pre-Workshop Writing Assessment

Before Session 1, we ask every enrolled student to complete a short writing task. This isn't homework for homework's sake — it's how we make sure every child gets genuinely personalised teaching from the very first minute.

1
We Send the Task

A short creative writing prompt sent via Google Classroom after enrolment. Takes around 15–20 minutes. No preparation needed — we want to see your child's natural starting point.

2
Your Child Submits

They write and upload their response before the first session on Saturday. It's a simple process through Google Classroom — accessible on any device.

3
We Review & Personalise

Our teaching team reads every submission before Day 1. We use these to assess current level, identify specific strengths and weaknesses, and tailor our teaching to the group — and to each child.

We need this done — without it, we can't give your child personalised feedback.

Why This Matters

The pre-work gives our team critical insight before day one:

  • Assess current writing level
  • Identify specific weaknesses
  • Tailor exercises to the group
  • Deliver personalised feedback
  • Maximise the 4-hour window
