How to use it
Get more out of it than a score
A mock is only useful if it changes what you do next. Three things make the difference.
Sit it in one go, timed
Fifty minutes for 44 questions is deliberately unforgiving — that pressure is the point. Stopping halfway tells you nothing about how your child copes with the pressure of the real thing.
Read the explanations together
Every wrong option in the answer key is the answer a child reaches from one specific mistake, and the key names it. That is the part worth going through line by line.
Look for patterns, not totals
Four dropped marks scattered across the paper is a very different problem from four dropped marks in one question type.
